For many of the one in five people in Ireland who are overweight, the diet industry is failing. Magazines and books continuously promote the next fad diet and it’s easy to become disillusioned by the trend of yo-yo dieting.
A new weight-loss programme has been set up to tackle this dilemma, by educating people on how to lose weight, maintain that weight-loss and improve health.
Zest4life is a weight-loss and vitality programme, co-created by one of Britain’s most respected nutritionists, Patrick Holford.
How is Zest4life different? Most diets or weight-loss approaches only focus on one element (such as diet, group support or exercise) and usually focus on short-term success. However, the Zest4life programme uniquely draws together all the components that will enable you to be successful – not only at weight loss but at weight maintenance. Qualified coaches run the sessions which involve weekly weigh-ins to monitor progress and educational topics including: allergies, motivation, anti-ageing, exercise and healthy eating.
